Justin Calhoun

HBCU Deputy State Coordinator

Justin Calhoun is a fierce advocate leading change at the intersection of social justice through grassroots organizing and social media. He is a graduate of Howard University and a digital creator who got his start advocating for LGBT inclusion at HBCUs. At 21, Justin created Howard University’s first Queer Studies course. At 22, he testified before Congress on behalf of Black youth. Presently, he is committed to empowering the next generation of youth leaders through advocacy, and civic participation as the HBCU Deputy Coordinator.
