Kala Washington

Texas Deputy Coordinator

Kala Washington is a recent graduate of the illustrious HBCU, Prairie View A&M University. She began her work as a community organizer there on campus while obtaining her Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Behavioral and Political Science. While organizing on campus she served as a Democracy Fellow for Campus Vote Project and lead numerous civic engagement initiatives on campus and in the surrounding Houston area. Kala enjoys leading and educating the members of her community on becoming more civically engaged and plans to eventually serve them in office!

Molly Schamberger

Molly Schamberger is a graduate of Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Molly received a BA in Political Science with a minor in Urban Affairs. In her time at Marquette she worked as a research assistant for the Marquette Center for Peacemaking and was involved in Student Government. Molly served as a Democracy Fellow with Campus Vote Project during her senior year. After graduating, Molly worked as a member of the Conflicts and New Business Department at Foley & Lardner LLP. She is excited to be back with Campus Vote Project and to work with fellows across the state.
