Samuel Appel is a recent graduate of Florida State University with a B.A. in Political Science and is native to the Tampa Bay Area. During his time in undergrad, Sam explored civic engagement with the Student PIRGs as a campaign coordinator for the New Voters Project. In addition to his work with NVP, Sam has spent time working in the Florida State House, One Journey Refugee Festival, and The Office of Government Affairs at Florida State University. Through these endeavors, Sam has found an unbridled passion for advocacy and promoting the interests of young people, and he brings a fierce dedication to extending Democracy to America’s newest generation.
