Khaula is based in Columbus, Ohio where she attended The Ohio State University and earned a Bachelor of Science in Evolution and Ecology, with minors in Political Science and Women’s, Gender and Sexuality Studies. After graduating in 2016, she worked as a naturalist for the Columbus and Franklin County Metro Parks, and as a community marketing and special events manager for Cameron Mitchell Restaurants. Khaula is involved with local nonprofits aimed at addressing environmental justice issues, as well as race and socio-economic inequity.
