Amanda LaRoche

North Carolina State Coordinator

Amanda is the North Carolina State Coordinator for Campus Vote Project. She holds a B.A. in Communication from the University of California, San Diego, and a Ph.D. in English with a concentration in Folklore from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. In addition to a professorship, Amanda worked as an electoral organizer in Alabama, including congressional campaign manager in Alabama’s First district, an executive committee member with the Baldwin County Democrats, and a campaign coordinator for the 2018 mid-term elections. Amanda’s passion for higher education and voting access led her to CVP where she is excited about expanding student voter participation in the state. Amanda lives in central North Carolina with her family and is a devoted dog-mom to her very best girls, Roux and Roma.
