Alexis is a native to Cleveland, Ohio and has worked intensively in education specifically in empowering youth and providing equitable access to marginalized youth in the area of workforce development and technology education. Alexis graduated from Case Western Reserve University with a BA in Sociology and English in 2013. While on campus, she engaged in work with the Leonard Gelfand STEM Center, the Center of Civic Engagement and Learning, and the Children Defense Fund’s New Abolitionist Association. Alexis is passionate about the training and development of youth voices and cultivating their gifts. She is excited to work to ensure equitable access to voting across Ohio’s many campus communities.
