Michelle Kanter Cohen serves as Policy Director and Senior Counsel with Fair Elections Center. Prior to joining the Center, Ms. Kanter Cohen spent five years at Project Vote as a litigator and advocate for voting rights, focusing on the areas of voter registration and election administration. She previously worked as a litigation associate at WilmerHale LLP in Washington, DC. As a law student, Ms. Kanter Cohen interned for the late Judge Reginald C. Lindsay of the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts. Ms. Kanter Cohen earned her J.D., magna cum laude, from Boston College Law School, and a B.A., cum laude, in Political Science from Yale University. She is a member of the following bars:
