Born and raised in Colorado Springs, Colorado, Karen moved to Washington, D.C. to join Fair Elections Center as the Executive Assistant. She graduated with honors from Johns Hopkins University with a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and Political Science with concentrations in Law and Human Rights. Upon graduation, Karen interned for United States Senator Michael Bennet and then worked as an Executive Assistant for Academy District 20 in Colorado Springs. She is passionate about law and politics and is pleased to work with Fair Elections Center to further support its mission.
